NCA Appoints Gabe Dahlstrom as Vice President of Sales
BELLEVUE, Washington, September 26, 2016—With more than 24 years' expertise, NCA has partnered with enterprises around the country and worldwide to deliver top quality technology solutions. Knowledgeable, customer-focused sales leaders have always been key to that mission.
Back in January, NCA launched a search for an experienced, creative leader with the qualities of self-motivation and making a difference that are central to the NCA culture. Now, as NCA appoints Gabe Dahlstrom as Vice President of Sales, that search is over.
At NCA, the Vice President of Sales role is a highly visible leader who collaborates across the organization and partners with the Board of Directors to define and deliver sales goals. With 20 years of expertise in Puget Sound’s fast-moving technology industry, Mr. Dahlstrom is the ideal choice.
Before coming to NCA, Mr. Dahlstrom achieved distinction as a sales leader at top national brands including Bay Networks, Nortel Networks, and Juniper Networks. In his most recent role over the past seven years, as Director of Sales at a locally-owned systems integrator, Mr. Dahlstom's team grew revenue 300% for the commercial, enterprise and SLED market.
Mr. Dahlstrom brings a combination of technical insight and interpersonal knowledge that gets to the heart of the NCA way of business. His firm belief in recruiting great people and developing their talent has helped him exceed sales goals while becoming a master relationship builder.
Mr. Dahlstrom has expressed his strategic focus on deepening NCA’s key customer relationships and partner ecosystem in the future. No doubt, he will also look for ways to strengthen and expand the sales team – while encouraging each member to do their personal best.
As a graduate of San Diego State University with a B.S. in Business and a minor in Information Systems, Mr. Dahlstrom has long been interested in the intersection between technology and business. His wife of 22 years also works in the tech space as part of the HR team for Amazon Web Services. They have two sons, the elder now a freshman at Washington State University.
Outside of work, Mr. Dahlstrom’s passions include basketball and baseball; pastimes he loves to share with his sons. His principal technology interests include cloud computing and collaboration along with security, among others.
Mr. Dahlstrom officially assumed his role at NCA on September 12. Everyone at the enterprise is looking forward to working with him and witnessing how his knowledge, drive, and integrity will empower the sales organization.
