David Cahoon Brings Expertise from Fortune 100 Brands to NCA

Mr. Cahoon joins us from a successful tenure as Director of Professional Services at Intel Security. Here, he acted as the Security Services Leader and effectively overhauled service delivery within just two years. As architect of new KPIs and relationship owner for C-level executives, he empowered Intel Security to turn challenges into opportunities for market leadership.

Previously, Mr. Cahoon served as Professional Services Director of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at RSA, the Security Division of EMC. His decade of industry-leading excellence in team leadership and revenue generation left a lasting legacy: It helped EMC’s top leadership establish the value proposition that led to a successful acquisition by Dell.

Mr. Cahoon’s expansive career includes a number of other technical leadership and engineering roles. He is proud to have worked at NASA’s Langley Research Center in one of the most demanding and educational roles available in U.S. government service. He also founded and led a local ISP from concept to success in the early days of the consumer Internet.

A Client Services Transformation is Coming with David Cahoon and Team

At NCA, Mr. Cahoon will report directly to our Chief Operations Officer, Kevin Hagen. He will envision, strategize, and execute client solutions at the highest level. In this role, he will lead all billable consulting engineers, the Managed Services business unit, and core project management.

In addition, he’ll partner with the Vice President of Sales, Gabe Dahlstrom, to deliver an even higher level of support and facilitation for our sales pros and sales engineers. By driving sales of NCA’s professional, managed, and hosted solutions, he will be a key part of our revenue goals.

Mr. Cahoon is well known in the industry for his ability to plan and architect exceptional Total Customer Experience Programs. He has personally crafted KPIs that effectively zoom in on the areas of greatest need within the organization, ensuring continuous improvement. In the past, he has helped organizations capture record-breaking highs in service delivery in a matter of months.

Mr. Cahoon also brings a unique ability to help each member of his team develop to their utmost. He is passionate about working with people and helping them achieve more than they ever believed possible. In this capacity, he recently cultivated a world-class professional services team from 21 people to over 75, adding more than $30M in additional revenue streams over five years.

Arriving Fresh from the United Kingdom, David Cahoon Looks Forward to NCA

Many of Mr. Cahoon’s roles have had significant international components. That being the case, he has an unusual breadth of perspective on what works and what doesn’t in various situations. His last seven years have been working within EMEA with the latest work being focused on the UK.

As part of the NCA family, he will be moving to the Bellevue area to begin work on June 7th.

Mr. Cahoon is married and the proud father of four daughters. His three elder daughters live, work and go to school in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, while his wife and youngest will be joining him in Bellevue. When he is not working, Mr. Cahoon is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys boating whenever the weather permits.

Mr. Cahoon is greatly looking forward to his first day and becoming part of the NCA team for a long time to come. Many of our C-level leaders have already had the opportunity to meet him and are optimistic about both his fit for NCA and the impact he will make.
