Watchguard Fireware XTM Advanced Course (Duration: 1 Day) NCA Headquarters, Bellevue - November 18, 2010 ~ 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Prerequisites: Fireware XTM Basics or 3 months WatchGuard experience
This two-day course introduces advanced firewall security topics such as FireCluster (High-Availability), WAN redundancy, advanced log reading and troubleshooting, and Active Directory integration.
Day one focuses on the configuration of advanced troubleshooting FireCluseter, Multi-Wan redundancy; policy based routing, dynamic routing and VLAN and bridge configurations.
Day two focuses on the configuration of Active Directory authentication, single sign on, restricting VPN access, and firewall disaster recovery.
Students will learn:
Advanced firewall and network troubleshooting with Fireware® XTM Log Server and TCPdump.
Configuring failover and redundancy through FireCluster and Multi-WAN.
Using Policy Based Routing with Multi-WAN configuration.
Configuring Fireware® XTM dynamic routing.
Integrating 802.1Q VLANs into your security solution and Fireware® XTM interface bridging.
Active Directory integration and using the WatchGuard single sign on client.
Restricting access through remote and site-to-site VPN tunnels.
