With over 15 years in the IT industry, Chris' unique blend of talent and approachability has been instrumental in his career success.  Working throughout several diverse aspects of the industry, Chris has excelled in roles including network engineering, application engineering, technical sales and as Atrion's director of technical operations.  In July of 2009, Chris became Atrion's Chief Technology Officer.

As CTO, Chris leads Atrion in aligning its business strategy with new and emerging technology offerings.  He is also instrumental in identifying and pursuing new market and product opportunities which will continue to enhance the design, deployment and management of Atrion's extensive "always on" network performance solutions.

In addition to his vision for Atrion's overall strategic direction, Chris displays a passion for educating and empowering people - engineer and client alike - on the myriad of enabling and emerging technologies.  He serves as a dynamic mentor to Atrion's teams of highly skilled Solutions Architects and Practice Leaders.  His personal style and easygoing demeanor make it easier for Chris to explain complex technology issues and relate to his peers on a more convivial manner.

Chris is a regionally published author and has been featured as a guest lecturer at various industry conferences as well as a Thought Leader and instructor at many of Atrion's internal and external seminars and technology training classes.  Chris sits on the Information Technology Steering Committee for the Rhode Island IT Association, Tech Collective; and serves as a Professional Service Leader for the North American IT consortium, 1nService.

Chris' expertise, coupled with his passion, dedication and leadership, has made him a driving force behind not only his own personal and professional success, but also the success of countless others.  Chris' example continues to cultivate and maintain the highest level of people-focus and personal service that Atrion is known for.

Jeff Rowley,

Jeff is currently a full-time Sales Engineer for ShoreTel focusing his time on the technical training and education of ShoreTel partners and customers in the Northwestern US and Western Canada.  He also is holds the position of Technical Team Lead over the entire world-wide field SE group.

He has been providing networking solutions for businesses since 1988.  With 18 years experience in the data networking and Voice-over-IP industries he has considerable skill in all aspects of network design and implementation ranging from small LANs to large, multi-national wide-area networks. 

He is a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE #6564, inactive) and holds numerous security, voice and network vendor certifications including Cisco Systems, Extreme Networks, WatchGuard Technologies, Juniper Networks and ShoreTel Systems.  He has spent the last decade specializing in LAN/WAN design, enterprise routing & switching, secure firewall & VPN implementations and Voice-over-IP deployments.
