Danny Luedke brings experience ranging from start-ups to a Fortune 1000 company. With over 14 years of experience in operations and professional services,he brings a strong expertise in applications, operating systems,architecture, and security. Danny leads our security audit subpractice focusing on customer’s business initiatives. Danny specializes in information security and is the primary architect of NCA’s security audit framework. Prior to joining NCA, Danny was a Systems Engineer for Corbis. Danny’s primary focus with Corbis was spent stabilizing the commerce web sites, incorporating the operations team in the development lifecycle, and creating a world-class datacenter facility. Among his significant previous positions, Danny helped form the network operations team and professional services team at ViAir.

Dr. Paul Q. Judge is a noted scholar and successful entrepreneur.

Dr. Judge founded Purewire, a leading Web security company in 2007. In 2000, Dr. Judge joined the founding team of CipherTrust which became one of the fastest growing companies in North America reaching 300 employees and over 3000 customers in more than 50 countries including half of the Fortune 500. CipherTrust was acquired by Secure Computing for $273 million in 2006. From 2006-2007 Dr. Judge served as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of publicly traded Secure Computing. During his tenure at CipherTrust and Secure Computing, Dr. Judge headed the technology strategy and spent time leading research, engineering, and product management. He is an inventor of over 20 patented and patent-pending computer security technologies. Prior to his tenure at CipherTrust, Dr. Judge worked with IBM and NASA. Dr. Judge has received numerous awards including being recognized by MIT's Technology Review Magazine as one of the top 100 young innovators in the world. Dr. Judge is a recognized authority on information security issues, having authored numerous papers that have been published in leading academic journals and presented at multiple industry and academic conferences. Dr. Judge has also been featured in hundreds of national media outlets including CNN, Forbes, Business Week, and Fox News. Dr. Judge holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Morehouse College, and received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Network Security from Georgia Tech.

Chris Rostie is the founder and driving force behind Rostie Consulting.  He brings technical strength, hands-on management skills and an impressive ability to deliver on complex projects to his position.  Through innovation and with an un-biased approach to technologies, he has made Rostie Consulting the go-to company for design, installation and engineering support in the internetworking world.

Peter Gianacopolous, President & CEO, Myrmidon Networks

Peter Giannacopoulos is the founder, President and CEO of Myrmidon Networks. Since 1999, Myrmidon Networks has been providing security and disaster recovery expertise to enterprise accounts with extremely demanding requirements. Prior to founding Myrmidon Networks, Peter was Director of Architecture for McAfee.com, one of the most highly trafficked and attacked sites on the planet (supporting over 3 million unique daily visitors and withstanding well over 40,000 attacks per day). Before joining McAfee, Peter had over 14 years of IT and business consulting experience in the Fortune 500 at such firms as EG&G, Amdahl, Thermo Fisher, Citizens Bank, Manulife, Providian Bancorp and others. Headquartered in Massachusetts, Myrmidon Networks currently has 7 employees and continues to provide virtualization and security consulting for the midcap and enterprise markets. Jason Needham, Senior Director of Product Management, F5 Networks

Jason Needham is responsible for the product planning, business strategy, and market positioning for F5’s core BIG-IP product portfolio. With over nine years at the company, he has led numerous new product initiatives including the development of global load balancing, multi-homing, F5’s next-generation modular architecture called “TMOS”, as well as current virtualization roadmap and integration efforts for the F5 portfolio.  Prior to joining F5, he held the position of Sales Director at Trados, a software translation company. Before that, Needham helped to define and grow key emerging markets at WRQ, a leading provider of host-connectivity solutions that has since merged with Attachmate, and he was an integral part of the growth and sale of startup Express Systems, a desktop monitoring and meeting software provider. He holds a B.A. from Seattle Pacific University.

 

 

Panelist:
Mark Provitola, Brunspack

Mark Provitola is BRUNS-PAK’s National Enterprise Account Manager for the West. BRUNS-PAK provides data center facilities infrastructure consulting, design/engineering, construction and commissioning for the past 29+ years and has completed over 4,500 data center projects. Given BRUNS-PAK’s “Inside-Out” approach to data center design/engineering, Mark has extensive experience with the impact of virtualization on data center facility infrastructure planning.
Before coming to BRUNS-PAK, Mark was the VP of Data Center Solutions (DCS) at Collective Technologies. DCS provided data center migration, relocation, and program/project management services. Mark has also held senior Professional Services positions at Dazel (acquired by HP in 1999), Surgient Networks and AlterPoint.
Mark served 10 years in the U.S. Navy as an F-14 Radar Intercept Office (RIO) and deployed twice to the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation Southern Watch. His last Navy assignment in Washington DC was as a Project/Operations Officer at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). Mark holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Stetson University and a M.S. in Project Management from George Washington University.
