Corey Nachreiner, Senior Network Security Analyst, WatchGuard Technologies

Corey Nachreiner has been with WatchGuard since 1999 and has since written more than a thousand concise security alerts and easily-understood educational articles for WatchGuard users. His security training videos have generated hundreds of letters of praise from thankful customers and accumulated more than 100,000 views on YouTube and Google Video. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Corey speaks internationally and is often quoted by other online sources, including C|NET, eWeek, and Slashdot. Corey enjoys "modding" any technical gizmo he can get his hands on, and considers himself a hacker in the old sense of the word

Raymond Pompon, CISSP
Capital Stream

Ray Pompon is the senior security officer at HCL Capital Stream, an application service provider for financial institutions. With nearly 20 years of experience in network security, he has been involved in several major intrusion cases. In 2000, Ray worked as an undercover operative in the FBI's Operation Flyhook, which ended with the apprehension and conviction of two Russian hackers. For six years, Ray was president of Seattle InfraGard, representing the state in variety of cyber-security events and exercises with the FBI, DHS, and the US Secret Service. Ray has written many articles and white papers on advanced technology topics and is frequently asked to speak as a subject matter expert on Internet security issues. National journalists have solicited and quoted his thoughts and perspective on the topic of computer security numerous times. Ray also maintains a security blog at http://assumebreach.blogspot.com. For the past four years, Ray has produced the "Heidi, Geek Girl Detective" (http://planetheidi.com) web-comic. Ray holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Information Technology from the University of Hawaii as well as a Certificate in Data Communication from the University of Washington. He has also earned industry certifications in Security, Auditing, Systems Management and Internet Security plus many vendor certifications.

Olav Opedal, DLP Deployment Manager, Microsoft

Olav is currently responsible for Microsoft’s global DLP deployment, arguably one of the largest DLP deployments in the world.

 

Technologist for smart cards, PKI, and crypto 2002-2004, worked on global smart card deployment, RMS recovery, PKI architecture, and built a self service portal for smart card PIN resets

Program Manager for security applications and security updates, 2004-2006 in IT Operations, was responsible for global deployments for all security updates, and ensuring that the security updates met the quality needs prior to release

Program Manager for security updates and compliance 2006-2007, IT Security, including the first deployment of a DLP solution at Microsoft

Sr. Program Manager for compliance and security updates 2007-current, includes PCI, SOX, and HIPAA compliance, DLP, RMS integration and data handling strategy for MSIT

Preston Hogue, Director of Information Security, Demand Media

Preston Hogue is currently the Director of Information Security at Demand Media. Previous to Demand Media, Preston was the Chief Security Officer at Network Computing Architects. Preston spent 5 years at Network Computing Architects developing their Information Security Practice into a national market leader for the development of ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems.

Preston’s career began 15 years ago performing Operational Security (OPSEC) Audits for the US Air Force. He served a special duty assignment for the Air Force Information Warfare Center (AFIWC) as a Command, Control, Communication, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) Analyst, worked at the Computer Emergency Response Center (AFCERT) where he performed intrusion detection analysis for Air Force bases and assisted with the oversight of Air Force security standards.

Aaron Coleman, Senior Sales Engineer , RSA Security

Aaron Coleman has over 13 years of IT experience with 2 and half years in the security space. Aaron has been with RSA Security for the past year and half. His area of expertise is in RSA’s Key Manager Server, RSA Tokenization Server, BSAFE, and Data Loss Prevention solutions. Aaron has consulted with some of RSA’s largest retailers worldwide providing security solutions primarily with Key Management and Data Loss Prevention. Aaron is based out of Dallas, TX.
