Sustainable Security Through Actionable Innovations

With the current global havoc in our very socio-economic fabrics, a tremendous sense of responsibility and urgency has fallen upon us in the IT and security communities. As our respective organizations and governments will do radical makeovers, we will be called upon to sustain their various initiatives innovatively. In fact, we are already being called upon to deliver sustainable security.

Over the past couple of years, corporations have been discovering that security must indeed be information-centric and address the protection of core data, rather than just be at the perimeter of infrastructures to block malicious or inadvertent events. RSA, with its deep security knowledge base, and EMC, with its global IT infrastructure deployments, have been at the forefront of addressing this challenge. With EMC’s unique visibility of both security and infrastructure issues, it is our viewpoint that actionable innovations are indeed possible for us all to be able to deliver on sustainable security.  The time for these innovations is now!
