Atri Chatterjee currently serves as the senior vice president of marketing for Secure Computing Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the company’s worldwide marketing efforts, including branding, internal communications, public relations, product marketing, lead generation and competitive intelligence.

Chatterjee has 20 years of experience in marketing, business and engineering at leading technology companies. Before joining Secure Computing, he was senior vice president at CipherTrust, where he was responsible for all global marketing initiatives for the company. CipherTrust was acquired by Secure Computing in 2006.

Prior to CipherTrust, Chatterjee was one of the founders of Mercora Inc., where he helped create a copyright-compliant, user-contributed music search and sharing service for consumers.

Before Mercora, Chatterjee served as vice president of marketing and business development for McAfee.com, which was purchased by Network Associates in late 2002. While at McAfee/Network Associates, he oversaw the launch of several consumer security solutions, including McAfee Security Center, McAfee Personal Firewall and McAfee Spamkiller. He also played an instrumental role in helping McAfee partner with AOL and Dell to bolster security for customers.

Chatterjee was an early employee at Netscape Communications, where he started the product management group for servers, led OEM business development and managed all developer relations and platform partnerships. His extensive experience also includes software development and product management roles at a variety of technology companies, including Clarify Inc, GO Corporation and Sun Microsystems.

Chatterjee holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from Washington State University.
